New! Form 6653 Submission Instructions

The Form 6653 process is now live. Here’s what you need to know to submit it correctly the first time.  If you’re submitting EDI claims, make sure you populate the PWK segment with value B4 when using the Form 6653 process.

Following these steps will help avoid delays and keep your claims moving.

Next Generation MyCare 277CA, 835ERA, and Member Eligibility Look Up

The Next Generation MyCare plans have resolved issues that were impacting the delivery of outbound documents, including all 277 Claims Acknowledgement (CA) and 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) files. CareSource has also resolved issues related to the ability to deliver outbound Managed Care 835ERA forms. If you are still seeing delays in delivery of 277CAs or 835ERAs, contact the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) Integrated HelpDesk at 800-686-1516.

ODM is aware of issues with real time eligibility look up via the Next Generation MyCare plans 270/271. Once this issue is resolved, member eligibility look up can resume via normal processes. In the meantime, providers can look up member eligibility via Provider Network Management (PNM) or the fee-for-service 270/271 process.
